Finding the best Cradle Swing can be a tough job. There are so many to choose from, and they’re so much alike, it’s hard to know what’s best. If you’ve narrowed it down to a Fisher Price Cradle Swing, then you’re doing pretty good, however if you’ve narrowed it down to either the “My Little Lamb” cradle swing, or the “My Little Snugabunny” cradle swing, you’re doing great! These two Fisher Price Cradle Swings have a lot in common, so a decision between the two can be tough, however there are a few key differences that will help you decide.
Let’s take a look at what they have in common first. For example, both the Fisher Price My Little Lamb, and Snugabunny offer 3 seat positions, and 2 swinging motions (head-to-toe & side-to-side), as well as 6 speeds and volume control. Also included with both Fisher Price Swings, a 2 position seat recline, safety restraint, and plush seats with removable, washable seat pads. Both of these cradle swings also fold up easily for storage, and have a weight limit of 25 pounds. Hanging mobiles are also included with both models, and they cost about the same, around $130.00.
Now let’s take a look at the differences. First of all, the My Little Snugabunny Swing offers an AC adapter for a plug-in option, whereas the My Little Lamb Swing requires 4 D batteries. The Snugabunny also has removable side support for infants, which is a nice plus. Also, reviewers love it! 63 out of 71 reviewers rated it 4 to 5 stars, with 5 being the max. Now it may seem that the Snugabunny is the way to go, however, the Fisher Price My Little Lamb Swing has a few cards up its sleeve. For instance, the My Little Lamb Swing offers more music options, 10 tunes and 3 nature sounds. Whereas the Snugabunny only offers 8 tunes and 2 nature sounds. Also, the My Little Lamb offers a removable snack tray and toy bead bar.
In conclusion, both of these Fisher Price Cradle Swings are great buys. However, if you’d rather have the AC adapter option and removable side infant support, the Fisher Price My Little Snugabunny Cradle and Swing is best. But, if you’d rather have a few more tunes, and a snack tray with a toy bar, the Fisher Price My Little Lamb Cradle Swing is perfect. Personally, I would rather have the AC adapter more than anything. Batteries can get sooooo expensive!

The Fisher Price Rainforest Swing had pretty good reviews. 167 out of 240 reviewers rated it 4 to 5 stars, with 5 being the max. Most loved it, claiming that it was a “Lifesaver”, or a “must-have”. A few reviewers even stated that the rainforest swing was the best baby product they owned. The only real complaints I found were that the motor seemed a bit loud, and a couple of the reviewers stated that the swinging motions weren’t enough to soothe their little ones. Keep in mind, every baby is different. Also, most reviewers loved the fact that the rainforest swing plugged into the wall, stating that it was a HUGE money saver! Best swing by far,June 13, 2011
We bought the rainforest swing for a our son when he was a month old and we couldn’t have been happier and neither could he. When I was reading the reviews on this swing a lot of people complained about the motor being loud.. I didn’t find this at all. I guess it would be if you had nothing on in your house but the swing. Assembly was very easy as well and the motor seemed strong enough to swag my son the entire time he used it. We also used it for my daughter who was born two years after my son.
I always recommend the rainforest swing to friends and family who are having babies. The plug in option is also great! Batteries are just too pricey and they don’t last very long… even the rechargeable ones.

A lifesaver!,July 12, 2011

My 6 week old only wants to take naps if he is sleeping on me, and while I love snuggling with him, I need a break too! The rainforest swing has been my life saver because I can put him in the swing when he’s falling asleep and he will, without fail, sleep in the swing for up to 2 hours. When he is not sleepy, he is fascinated by the moving mobile. I also like how I can move the mobile out of the way when I need to get him out of the swing. Also, the assembly wasn’t hard to put together by myself. The only con I can think of is that the motor for the mobile is a little loud, though my son doesn’t seem to mind at all!

As far as reviews go, the Fisher Price Space Saver Swing did great! 26 out of 34 gave it 4 to 5 stars, with 5 being the max. Most reviewers loved the size and the fact that it is easily portable, however there were a couple complaints that it was too low to the ground making it hard to put Baby in. Also, one reviewer stated that the Space Saver Swing speeds were too slow, while another stated they were too fast. I know that’s not very helpful, but I just wanted to make the point that it all depends on your Baby’s preference. For instance, my daughter liked to swing fast…really fast, but she was also colic, so that made things a bit more tricky. Also, I had a Fisher Price Cradle Swing, which I loved, but it took up half my living room, and if I wanted to move it from one room to another, I had to take it apart. Of course my house is also tiny, but this Space Saver swing would have been perfect for me. See for yourself what current owners are saying about their Fisher Price Space Saver Swing below.
Worth the money, great on space!,July 19, 2011

We use the Fisher Price Space Saver Swing daily! This is baby #3 and the only thing we bought new this time around was the space saver swing. I love it; it provides a fun seat for Lil Bit to sit in and enjoy watching his brother and sister play. We never ended up putting batteries in it to use the swing because it seemed if he was in it we were close enough to rock him in it ourselves. The mobile on top is cute, but more of an annoyance as it gets in the way and doesn’t provide much interest to the wee one – although many adults have commented on it. But we are glad to have it — great on space in a full home!

One of the best baby products I own!,June 7, 2011
By Elizabeth A. Long,
I have a small home so I did not have an option of getting a big swing. I registered for the Fisher Price Space Saver Swing and have been using it successfully with my little one for two months (I have not even had to change the batteries yet). Now that I have it, I cannot imagine having anything else (i.e., a large stationary swing and separate bouncer), regardless of my house size. One of the things that I love about the Space Saver Swing is that it is portable – I can even move it around when my daughter is in it. I have moved it from the kitchen table, to the back deck, to my bedroom, to the living room….wherever I go in the house I can move it so that I can see her. The other great thing is that if she gets fussy when it’s swinging, I can switch it immediately to vibrating. I can’t imagine having to take a fussy baby out of it and move her to a different seat just to see if she wants the vibrations.
Some people have complained that the Space Saver Swing is too fast. If you just swing it without a baby in it, it seems fast, but once you put some weight in it, it swings at a very nice setting.
This is a product that I could not live without as a parent. I recommend the Fisher Price Space Saver Swing to everyone!!

As far as reviews go, the Fisher Price Snugabunny Swing did excellent! 232 out of 278 reviewers gave it 4 to 5 stars (out of 5). The only real complaint I found was that the lowest speed still seemed a little fast for newborns. Reviewers also commented that once the baby was about 1 month, the speed problem wasn’t an issue. Also, there were a couple defective swings with bad motors, but all in all, 90% of the customers were extremely satisfied. Check out customer feedback below.
Soft and Soothing, July 17, 2011
I bought the Fisher Price Snugabunny Swing for my new grandaughter, and she loves it. She naps in it daily (she is almost three months). The materials are VERY soft, washable and make a little nest for her. The sounds are great to lull her to sleep, as is the overhead mirror. So far she has used the side to side motion only. I wish the swing I had for her dad had been like this one!

By Heather S, (MN)
I got the Fisher Price Snugabunny Swing shortly before I gave birth because we had nothing for him to swing in. I was amazed at how easily it went together, I was in my 3rd trimester and still able to get the whole thing together in about 30 minutes and the instructions were really easy. The first week we had the baby home we used the lowest setting because it seemed to swing fast, but now he is 3 months and we put it up to the highest setting. The Snugabunny Swing overall seems very sturdy and I like that you can easily take the fabric off to wash it in case of accidents. I would recommend this swing to anyone who wants a few moments of peace (the only reason I can write this review is because my son is currently swinging away, fast asleep).
